The staff are consistently courteous and welcoming, managed the parking on site. The building is neat and the rooms are spotless.

The breakfast was delicious and the room had a lovely decor. The bed was very clean and the room had a satellite television. The location was convenient and close to food, drink, shops, the center of Godalming, and Farncombe train station.

The location was comfortable and ideal, near the walking area we wanted! Further, it was near food / drink / shops, the Farncombe train station, and the South, Godalming and Guildford.

The hotel was clean and modest. The room had a nice design and was impeccably clean. The staff were welcoming, check-in was quick, and there's a lovely bar. The Full English breakfast had a wide array of options. The service was friendly overall and there's parking onsite.

Perfect and fantastic location, in the centre of Godalming. Positioned in the communal lounge area, right by nearest train station, Guildford city centre and the Pub down the road. The breakfasts for vegetarians.

The room itself was retro, compact with a shared bathroom and had essentials I needed. The location was incredible there, dependent on howlong we would be required to stay in the area.

This place is an attractive and clean Edwardian-style hotel with all the necessary facilities, and it's just a 10-minute walk from the bus stop, making it my top pick for accommodation in the area.

The hotel offered very good value for the price. The location was marvelous and convenient. The rooms were exceptionally clean and modest. The staff was super friendly and exceptionally accommodating.

Location: the hotel was just off Godalming as well as shops. Found The Cricketers with perfect drinks 500 metres away. The breakfast was well prepared and I had a very very good stay overall...

Convenient Location

This place is located just next door to the train station, making it super easy to get around. 🚂 The public areas are also within reach, and we even took a nice 10-minute walk to see the lake.

Particularly good and unbeatable location to events taking place at the main arena- Stole Park, good for visiting Godalming. Besides, excellent for visiting Catteshall Lock.

Good Breakfast

The hotel is located on the main road between Guildford and Godalming. This road is very busy with cars, local buses and heavy vehicles throughout the 24 hour period. I stayed in room 14 which faced this road. To make matters worse the room had only single glazing. When the heavy vehicles and buses passed the hotel, the bedroom shook, this vibration was then passed into the bed. We never has much sleep because of the noise of traffic which occurred throughout the night. Next door was occupied by several male occupants, who continued to be noisy throughout the night. Doors continued to bang throughout the day and night, this was because some of the doors had no outside knobs. These matters were bought to the attention of the hotel owner.
